My therapy practice includes helping individuals and groups through life transitions and coping with circumstances that have happened to you in the past and are getting in the way of you living the way you want. I have many years of experience helping individuals cope and thrive, no matter what had happened in their past. I am adept at using a variety of strength-based models. I am able to draw on a variety of models in order to best help you. I have great respect for the abilities that everyone has to heal. I have experience working with depression, grief and loss and relationship issues. In addition I offer drama therapy to those who wish to work in a new and exciting model of therapy. I would be happy to discuss what that might look like or how session using drama therapy might be different than a traditional therapy session. (No prior experience needed to participate.) It takes courage to come to counseling. Congratulations on making the first step. Life transitions, trauma, even understanding yourself is challenging and not meant to be gone through alone. My role as a counselor is to walk through the discovery process with you. I strive to hear and understand your story and listen for events, decisions and ways of thinking that are causing you to feel stuck. Getting "unstuck" feels like freedom. I want that for you. Counseling provides a place to tell your truth in a safe environment. A new perspective can often help you see more light in yourself, in others and in your day. Each voice and story have value. When light is shed on your voice and story, healing begins to happen. Are you ready? I would be honored to receive your call. My number is 541-801-3415. My email is Margaret@MargaretEvansLPC.com.
